There's No Pass Mark in a Bank Interview. You Have to Be Ranked in the Top Half.

A former Goldman Sachs banker who ran first-round interviews explains how the ranking really works, and how we build your whole recruiting campaign with you.

Want this built for your own situation? Apply below. If your answers show we can help, you book a 30-minute first-round assessment with an ex-banker. We take 20 candidates a cycle.

How the Programme Runs

1

Someone who used to do the hiring builds your plan

A call on the specifics (which role, which group, which cycle), then a one-hour planning session that produces your Plan of Attack: week by week, worked back from your real deadlines.

2

We build a version of you that gets in the room

Résumé, cover letter and LinkedIn rebuilt line by line by people who used to screen them. The Experience Bridge if you have no finance experience yet. A networking method you run as a pipeline, through to the referral.

3

We get you ranked in the top half

Stories chosen with former interviewers, real questions sorted by bank and group, answers critiqued line by line, live mock interviews, and technicals taught to fluency rather than recall.

Underneath all of it: unlimited one-to-one coaching with former bankers, no session caps. That is why we only take 20 candidates a cycle.

Who This Is For

It is for you if

  • You're at a school Wall Street doesn't recruit at, and you will do the volume that route takes.
  • You're at a target school and want the process run properly rather than improvised.
  • You're starting early, before you have any finance experience.
  • You're one to three years into Big Four, corporate finance, commercial banking or asset management and want to move across.
  • You, or your family, will invest in one-to-one coaching if we both see a fit.

It is not for you if

  • You're still deciding whether banking is what you want.
  • You want free material only. It lives on our resources page.

Questions

+What happens on the assessment?

Thirty minutes, one-to-one with an ex-banker: a live first-round interview, then a straight verdict on where you stand and what to fix first, and it is yours to keep whether you enrol or not. If we don't think we can get you there, we say so.

+Does it cost anything?

The assessment itself costs nothing, and there is nothing to buy on the day. The programme it leads to is a serious investment: one-to-one coaching with former bankers, with no session caps. We tell you the exact figure on the call, out loud, before you decide anything.

+Why do you ask questions before I can book?

So the call starts on your situation rather than on the basics, and so we only book people we think we can genuinely help. That includes how the programme would be funded: a call that cannot lead anywhere wastes your time as well as ours. The résumé comes before the calendar because the banker reads it before the call. We take 20 candidates a cycle.

+Is there a GPA minimum?

No. Non-target and international candidates are exactly who this is built for, and the Break-In Guarantee has no GPA minimum and no residency requirement.

+Can my parents join?

Yes, and you're welcome to invite them. Most people would rather hear a straight assessment from a coach than get it second-hand over dinner.

+What is the Break-In Guarantee?

If you do the work the programme tracks and don't land a relevant role, you get your money back. The conditions are the programme itself, logged in your members area as you go. Terms and conditions apply.
